The first InstallFest of 2008 will be held on February 2, 2008 from 10am to 5pm at 1507 Newell-Simon Hall, Carnegie Mellon University. An installfest is an interactive event where you bring your computer to either show off some neat aspect of Linux, or seek help about getting Linux running on your hardware.

Getting There and Parking

Your best option is to park in CMU's Morewood Lot (free on weekends) and walk across Forbes Avenue over to Newell-Simon Hall. Follow the directions at the bottom of this page to the outside door of 1507. Alternatively, you can go to the third floor entrance of Newell-Simon Hall and call the phone number on the signs that will be placed there to be escorted in. This Google map also provides parking/walking directions.
