The first InstallFest of 2008 will be held on February 2, 2008 from 10am to 4pm at Carnegie Mellon University. An installfest is an interactive event where you bring your computer to either show off some neat aspect of Linux, or seek help about getting Linux running on your hardware.

Getting There and Parking

Your best option is to park in CMU's Morewood Lot (free on weekends) and walk across Forbes Avenue over to the third-floor entrance of Newell-Simon Hall. Call the phone number on the signs that will be placed there and someone will be up to escort you in. More details on locating CMU Newell Simon Hall 1109.
