WPLUG will have a General User Meeting and presentation on Saturday, October 23th, 2010, starting at 2pm at the [[Wilkins School Community Center]].  We will be downstairs in the auditorium.  This room is handicapped-accessible if you drive around to the back of the building.  A ramp leads to the auditorium door.

At this meeting, we will take nominations for the five seats on the WPLUG Board of Directors.  Those meeting the qualifications in Section 6.4 of the [[ByLaws#6_OFFICERS|WPLUG bylaws]] are eligible for election.  Members may nominate any eligible person, including themselves.  The election will be held on [[Meeting-20101113|November 13]].  You may nominate up to five people. Roland Hess from the [http://www.blender.org/ Blender project] will introduce the newly-released short animated film ''[http://www.sintel.org/ Sintel]''.  This was produced using Blender and other open source software.  Preceding this will be showings of the two previous Blender films, ''[http://www.elephantsdream.org/ Elephants Dream]'' and ''[http://www.bigbuckbunny.org/ Big Buck Bunny]''.
