The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group was held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at 7:37 PM, at Smallman Street Deli in Squirrel Hill, the regular presiding officer being in the chair and the Secretary being present. The minutes of the [[WPLUGBoard/Meeting-20090331|March 31, 2009 meeting]] were approved as read. |

The Chair reported that he will not be in attendance at the May 9 General User Meeting. |

The Secretary reported that WPLUG currently has 25 members. |

The Treasurer reported that there is currently $133 cash on hand and $551.12 in the checking account. |

The Internet Committee reported that because of robots posting spam to the wiki, anonymous users will now be required to solve a CAPTCHA to make edits. It also reported that goals are to upgrade to the latest version of Mediawiki and get the Planet blog aggregation software working. |

The Program Committee reported that the June installfest has been booked for the Brookline branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. |
