WPLUG will have a General User Meeting and presentation on Saturday, October 18, 2014, starting at 11:00 in Room 104 at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Bring some money for lunch - we'll order out!

Free Software licenses rely on copyright law to function. But what is copyright? How does one obtain it, and what rights does it give you? Perhaps more importantly, what can't you do with material copyrighted by others?
I'll review the basics of what copyright is and how it applies to creative works (including software).
