Bus Access
There is only one Port Authority bus that runs along Brookline Blvd, the 41D. Outbound buses leave downtown along Smithfield St at 9:20, 10:40, 12:00 and every 80 minutes thereafter.
Inbound buses leave the library at 1:02, 2:22, 3:42 and 5:02.
If the wait for the 41D is too long, and you are willing to walk a little more than 1/4 of a mile, the 41B runs along West Liberty Ave, which crosses Brookline Blvd, and runs between Brookline and Downtown (Smithfield St) every 60 minutes.
