Red Hat's courses (and exams) are hosted by Riverhead Training (www.riverheadtraining.com) in downtown Pittsburgh. Red Hat is somewhat unique in the industry in that their adminster their exams themselves and not thru an independent channel such as VUE or Prometric.

Red Hat exams are also much more expensive than typical IT certifications. I (Scott McFall) believe the RHCT is around $300 and the RHCE is about $750.

The RHCT/RHCE certification has historically be the most highly touted but it's starting to decline and the LPI certifications are catching up.
