Brookline Library
Synopsis
The Brookline branch of the Carnegie Library system. The library's meeting room serves as a venue for InstallFests.

The meeting room is downstairs along with the children's area. Everyone is encouraged to use the elevator for the movement of hardware.
Transportation Directions
General directions from Downtown and the north:
- Take the Liberty Bridge through the Liberty tunnels onto PA 19 South
- Follow 19 for less than 5 miles until you reach the intersection of Brookline Boulevard (at the McDonald's).
- Turn left onto Brookline Boulevard and follow the winding road up the hill to the main business district of Brookline.
- The library is near the intersection with Castlegate Avenue.

Bus Access
There is only one Port Authority bus that runs along Brookline Blvd, the 41D. Outbound buses leave downtown along Smithfield St at 9:20, 10:40, 12:00 and every 80 minutes thereafter.
Inbound buses leave the library at 1:02, 2:22, 3:42 and 5:02.
If the wait for the 41D is too long, and you are willing to walk a little more than 1/4 of a mile, the 41B runs along West Liberty Ave, which crosses Brookline Blvd, and runs between Brookline and Downtown (Smithfield St) every 60 minutes.

Venue
The library system recently underwent an 80 million dollar renovation (Press Release)
Wifi is provided for Allegheny County residents with a valid library card.
Parking
Metered parking is plentiful on Brookline Boulevard. Free parking is available on the side streets. There do not appear to be any conveniently-located parking lots.

Area
