Meeting Room

The program room is on the lower level of the library. If you come in the main library entrance, turn right and head toward the reference desk. Take the blue door to your right and head downstairs. The room is on your left after exiting the staircase.

Those carting in significant amounts of hardware can avoid the stairs by parking in the lot south of the building (look for the blue "Senior Citizen Center" sign). From there you can reach the back door of the building without negotiating any steps.

Transportation Directions

The library is located about a mile south of the interchange where the Parkway East (I-376) meets the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76). Take PA-48 south, and turn right at the fourth traffic signal (Gateway High School). Turn left at the stop sign, and the library will be ahead on your left.

Parking

There is plenty of parking available in the adjacent lots.

Bus Access

There is only one Port Authority bus which runs nearby on Saturdays, the 75A. This route does not go to Oakland or downtown, so if you are not in the Monroeville area, you will have to connect from another bus.

Car Pooling

This is probably a better option than trying to take transit. If you'd like to carpool with other WPLUG members, please ask on the Mailing Lists.
