PLUG will have a general users meeting and presentation on Saturday, March 29th, starting at 10am on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University, Newell Simon Hall 3002.

Schedule for the Day

9:30am - Setup
10:00am - Doors Open
11:00am - Featured Presentation
12:30pm - Break for Lunch
2:00pm - Finish clean up, everyone out

Speaker/Presentation

"Uses of OpenLDAP" and "Two-Factor Authentication" - Brian Seklecki

OpenLDAP is a network directory service which can be used for centralized authentication (1, 2) of user logins comparable to Sun's NIS or Microsoft's Active Directory.

Brian will also speak about two-factor authentication, such as that provided using Entrust USB tokens.
