Revision as of 18:47, 7 July 2013

WPLUG will have a General User Meeting and presentation on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at IBM Pittsburgh.

Whether you’re disturbed by the NSA surveillance scandal or indifferent because you suppose the government has no interest in you, it should make you think about the security of your personal information. You probably work with online banking, personal correspondence, and other sensitive data that certain people just shouldn’t see. What can you do to protect it? At WPLUG’s July general user meeting, we’ll be exploring a few of those topics with a few new faces.

Wi-Fi access at IBM Pittsburgh is limited. Please register in advance if you would like to use it. Registration will NOT be available the day of the event.

Schedule for the Day

1:30pm - Doors open, set up
2:00pm - Presentations begin
3:30pm - Meeting ends, everyone out. We may hang out for a little while afterward.
